Committing sins while fasting

Question

Is there any mention in the Quran or Hadith that whoever does not abstain from bad deeds during fasting, it is just as if he is starving himself?

Answer

We have not come across starving. Yes, he will not enjoy the virtue of the fast.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
