Tenant growing herbs in a common area of a complex

Question

I stay in a rented apartment which has a common park and green area for its tenants. Is it permissible for me to grow some herbs, like coriander, in the common green area and use it for myself?

Answer

If the landlord allows the tenants to grow herbs etc. in that area, then it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
