Accepting compensation from an insurance company

Question

My car has been involved in an accident with another car. Will it be permissible for me to accept compensation for the damages from his insurance company as it was his fault?

Answer

Yes, it is permissible for you to accept compensation from his insurance company. His insurance company is paying you on his behalf.
