Maintaining good relations with one's father

Question

My father and I don't have to good relationship and I want a good relationship with him but I am afraid of him and we don't talk that much. I try my best to practice Islam in every way. Does that make me a bad soul?

Answer

Insha Allah, Allah will look at you favourably. Go on trying and making du`aa.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
