Renewing the nikaah if marriage was not consummated

Question

I married my wife and didn't have intercourse with her for 4 months, do I have to marry her again?

Answer

No, you do not have to repeat your nikaah. Your nikaah is intact.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
