Preventing one's wife from staying at her sister's house

Question

My wife is demanding to go and stay in her sister's house who is also married for 4 days during my absence due to work. I don't like her sister at all so I refused. What is the Islamic opinion? Furthermore I would personally take her to her sister's house to meet for 1 or 2 hours when I have time.

Answer

If there is a valid reason that you dislike her and on account of that reason you feel that her sister may corrupt her mind and right understanding then your reason for preventing her is correct.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
