Continuing the tawaaf after the fardh salaah
Question
If a person stops his tawaaf to perform the fardh salaah, does he have to restart the entire round or can he continue the tawaaf from the spot where he stopped?
Answer
He can continue from the same spot where he stopped.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

ولو أقيمت الصلاة والرجل يطوف أو يسعى يترك الطواف والسعي ويصلي ثم يبني بعد الفراغ من الصلاة (الفتاوى الهندية 1/227)
وإذا خرج الطائف من طوافه لصلاة مكتوبة أو جنازة أو تجديد وضوء ثم عاد بنى على طوافه (الأصل للشيباني 2/403)
وإذا خرج الطائف من طوافه لصلاة مكتوبة أو جنازة أو تجديد وضوء ثم عاد بنى على طوافه لما بينا أنه ليس كالصلاة في الأحكام فالاشتغال في خلاله بعمل لا يمنع البناء عليه وروي عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنه أنه خرج لجنازة ثم عاد فبنى على الطواف (المبسوط للسرخسي 4/48)
والموالاة في الطواف ليست بشرط حتى لو خرج الطائف من طوافه لصلاة جنازة أو مكتوبة أو لتجديد وضوء ثم عاد بنى على طوافه، ولا يلزمه الاستئناف لقوله تعالى: وليطوفوا بالبيت العتيق مطلقا عن شرط الموالاة (بدائع الصنائع 2/130)
