Laser hair removal around private area due to medical reasons
Question
If a man develops repeated abscesses on his private parts and the surgeons advise laser to remove the hairs around the private area permanently as the hairs contribute to abscess formation, would it be permisible to expose the private parts to male or to female nurses/doctors for laser? Since shaving with a razor is thought to increase the abscess formation.
Answer
If it is a serious problem and this is the only available treatment then it is permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
