Question

Please advise as per Shaafi mazhab.

I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago. The blood test showed pregnancy on Tuesday, on Wednesday I bled, and on Thursday the miscarriage was confirmed. I bled from Thursday till the following week Friday. I took ghusl and then I was ok until Tuesday, when I saw blood and now I'm not sure anymore.

Answer

If there were blood clots or pieces of flesh that were passed out then the bleeding that follows will be regarded as nifaas (post-natal bleeding). As such, you will consider yourself to be in nifaas as long as the bleeding does not stop for a minimum duration of 15 days. (Mughnil Muhtaaj)

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
