Can glass doors be considered as a sutrah?

· 22 Safar 1440 AH1 min readEnglish

Question

I want to ask whether the sutra (a thing placed in front of a person performing namaaz) can be a glass. In our masajid, there are doors made of glass and the saffs are made on either side. So will it be allowed to cross while there is glass of exact or greater dimensions mentioned in shariah?

Answer

Yes.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
