Are silhouettes regarded as animate objects?

Question

Are silhouettes considered animate objects? We have a ball that has silhouettes of soccer players kicking a ball around. There are no details on the face, however it is a full silhouette, even details of the players hair are visible

Answer

If they have the appearance of animate objects it should be counted as animate objects.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
