Not shaving the armpits and pubic hair for more than 40 days

Question

If one does not shave the hair of armpits and pubic hair for more than 40 days, will his salah be accepted?

Answer

One will be sinful, however the Salaah will be valid.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

(و) يستحب (حلق عانته )... والأفضل يوم الجمعة وجاز في كل خمسة عشرة وكره تركه وراء الأربعين

و قال فى الشامية : ( ويستحب حلق عانته ) قال في الهندية ويبتدىء من تحت السرة ولو عالج بالنورة يجوز كذا في الغرائب, قوله ( وكره تركه ) أي تحريما لقول المجتبى ولا عذر فيما وراء الأربعين ويستحق الوعيد اه (الشامية 6/406)

ويحلق عانته وينظف بدنه في كل أسبوع مرة ويوم الجمعة أفضل ثم في خمسة عشر يوما والزائد على الأربعين آثم اه (حاشية الطحطاوى ص524)
