Is the translation from before incorrect?
Published as Translation of the word الذكرى
Question
Someone posted a Quranic verse that ‘indeed reminders benefit believers’. When I checked the translation, it said that ‘the reminder benefits the believers’. Is the translation from before incorrect?
Answer
That is also correct. The word الذكرى can be translated in the singular as well as the plural context considering the jins ma'na.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
