Girl makig istikhaarah before the boy comes to see her

Question

If a family phones the house of a girl to see the girl for marriage - Is it permissible to read Istikharah to gain insight on whether the boy should be called home to see the girl? Especially since the girl finds these 'samoosa runs' difficult.

Answer

If she wishes to she can make istikhaarah. More importantly, she should not take these matters in her own hands. She should refer to her guardians and elders.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
