Is cupping sunnah?

Question

Is cupping considered as a sunnat or is it only when one has a health problem to treat when it would be considered as a sunnat?

Answer

It is a treatment that Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) had taken. To take it as a sunnat treatment is good and recommended.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
