Disobeying one's parents by not marrying the person of their choice
Question
Are you sinning if you disobey your parents if you refuse to marry who they want you to?
Answer
It is not a sin, but it is the good fortune of the child to obey, respect and keep his parents happy at all times.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
