Question

If a husband tells his wife, "you are my mother, you are my sister or my mother, my sister" without intending zihaar, what will happen?

Answer

It does not affect the nikaah. However, it is not appropriate to use these types of words.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
