Reciting the tasbeeh of ruku' and sajdah only once

Question

I would like to know, is it necessary to do sajda-e-sahw if we pray "Subhanarabiyal azim "only once in ruku instead of three times, also if we mistakenly pray "subhanarabiyalala" only once instead of three times in sajda?

Answer

The Salaah is valid even though one only recited the tasbeeh once in ruku and sajdah. Sajdah-e-sahw will not be waajib. However it is sunnat for one to recite the tasbeeh at least three times in ruku' and sajdah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
