Where should one don the ihraam when going for umrah via Jeddah

Question

I am going from Riyadh to Jeddah to my friend's hotel on Friday morning. I also have a plan to perform Umrah, maybe after performing jummah prayer in Jeddah or on the next day.

My question is that when, and from where should I have to wear Ihram for Umrah?

From the meeqaat.
