Performing maghrib salaah behind an imaam performing esha salaah

Question

What is the Islamic ruling on someone praying maghrib salaat at the back of the Imam that is praying esha salaah?

Answer

His maghrib salaah will not be valid. He will have to repeat the maghrib salaah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
