Taking a false qasam (oath)
Question
I want to know if someone takes a false qasam on the Quran, what’s the kaffarah?
Answer
If a false qasam is taken regarding a matter of the past then there is no kaffarah. However, it is a serious sin and you need to make sincere taubah for it.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
