Question

Is it right to do zikr of "illallah"?

Answer

This is prescribed as a treatment. A treatment does not have to be established in the Quraan or sunnah for it to be practiced. Rather, it is something that is based on experience. This is similar to taking a type of medication as a treatment to treat an illness. As long as the treatment is halaal and does not go against shariah, it will be permissible to utilize it.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
