Question

Is it permissible to offer salaah before azaan when the time of the prayer has begun?

Answer

Once the time of salaah enters, it is permissible to perform the salaah. Women may perform their salaah at home.

However, as far as men are concerned, they should perform their fardh salaah in the musjid. Without a valid reason, they should not forgo performing the congregational salaah in the musjid.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

عن عبد الله قال من سره أن يلقى الله غدا مسلما فليحافظ على هؤلاء الصلوات حيث ينادى بهن فإن الله شرع لنبيكم صلى الله عليه وسلم سنن الهدى وإنهن من سنن الهدى ولو أنكم صليتم في بيوتكم كما يصلي هذا المتخلف في بيته لتركتم سنة نبيكم ولو تركتم سنة نبيكم لضللتم وما من رجل يتطهر فيحسن الطهور ثم يعمد إلى مسجد من هذه المساجد إلا كتب الله له بكل خطوة يخطوها حسنة ويرفعه بها درجة ويحط عنه بها سيئة ولقد رأيتنا وما يتخلف عنها إلا منافق معلوم النفاق ولقد كان الرجل يؤتى به يهادى بين الرجلين حتى يقام في الصف (صحيح مسلم، الرقم: 1432)

عن عبد الله عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال صلاة المرأة في بيتها أفضل من صلاتها في حجرتها وصلاتها في مخدعها أفضل من صلاتها في بيتها (سنن أبي داود، الرقم: 570)

يشترط لصحة الصلاة دخول الوقت واعتماد دخوله كما في نور الإيضاح وغيره (رد المحتار 1/370)

لأن أداء الصلاة بالجماعة سنة مؤكدة أو في معنى الواجب (تحفة الفقهاء 1/198)
