How do we know if the translation of the Quraan is correct?
Published as Studying the translation of the Quraan independently
Question
How do we know if the translation of the Quraan is correct?
Answer
We advise that the translation or the Tafseer of the Quraan should not be studied independently. Rather, it should be done under the supervision of an experienced Aalim who has sound knowledge and understanding in the field of Tafseer and the sciences related to the Quraan.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
