Cursing someone who did wrong to you

Question

Is cursing someone that did wrong to you haraam?

Answer

To generalise a curse is permissible. For example, "La`natullahi alaz zaalimeen" - may the curse of Allah Ta`ala be on those who do wrong to people. But be careful before saying such words, for you may have also wronged others and the curse may come on you as well.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
