Are men allowed to wear platinum rings?

Answer

No.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

عن ابن بريدة عن أبيه قال : جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم وعليه خاتم من حديد فقال ما لي أرى عليك حلية أهل النار ؟ ثم جاءه وعليه خاتم من صفر فقال ما لي أجد منك ريح الأصنام ؟ ثم أتاه وعليه خاتم من ذهب فقال ارم عنك حلية أهل الجنة قال من أي شيء اتخذه ؟ قال من ورق ولا تتمه مثقالا (جامع الترمذي رقم 4396)
