Question

Is it permissible to keep tortoises as pets?

Can you name animals Islamic/Muslim names like the names of prophets, etc.?

Answer

Yes.

Don't name animals with the names of the Ambiyaa (alaihimus salaam).

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
