Wearing clothing that is synonymous to LGBTQ

Question

I recently came across a social media message stating that the wearing of rainbow-colored clothing is impermissible. The reason stated was that the rainbow colors are synonymous with the LGBTQ movement. Is this correct or is the wearing of such clothing permissible?

Answer

The principle of the shariah is that we abstain from areas of doubt. If this is a symbol of a deviate group then you should definitely refrain.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
