Taubah for saying that a Nabi is the son of God
Question
If a Muslim says God forbid, Jesus is the son of God, will he have to say the shahaadah and testify that Isa (alaihis salaam) is the messenger of God? What about if he calls another prophet the son of God or another human being the son of God, how does he repent?
Answer
As he would repent by saying the same for Isa (alaihis salaam).
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.
