Marrying a girl one is not attracted to

Question

Is it okay to marry someone for piety if I am not attracted to her? I fear I will not be able to fulfill her sexual rights.

Answer

If you fear falling into haraam or not satisfying her then we will discourage you from such a marriage.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

(فلو جب بعد وصوله إليها) مرة (أو صار عنينا بعده) أي الوصول (لا) يفرق لحصول حقها بالوطء مرة (الدر المختار 3/495)

قال العلامة ابن عابدين: (قوله: لحصول حقها بالوطء مرة) وما زاد عليها فهو مستحق ديانة لا قضاء بحر عن جامع قاضي خان ويأثم إذا ترك الديانة متعنتا مع القدرة على الوطء (رد المحتار 3/495)
