Question

I have read somewhere (I think it was Baheshti Zewar) that it is makrooh to pray in a place where one would get distracted. What is meant by being 'distracted' in this ruling?

Answer

The Quraan says "Establish salaah for My remembrance." So it means anything that will distract you from Allah's remembrance.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
