Accepting sweets from na baaligh students
Question
I'm teaching maktab and my students often give me sweets, chips, etc. What's the ruling regarding taking chips, sweets, etc. from these na baligh children?
Answer
It is not permissible for one to accept a gift from a child. However, if the children's parents gave them the sweets to give you, then it was permissible for you to accept it.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Where scholars differ, it’s safer to take the more cautious view.
