Can one pray in front of a mirror?

Question

1. Can one pray in front of a mirror?

2. Can one pray in a manner that a mirror is next to him and he is not facing it?

Answer

1. It is permissible. However, the principle of shariah is that one should not perform salaah in a place where one will be distracted.

2. As above.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
