Using the benefits from banks

Question

With FNB automatically ebucks are generated for using the banks services. This can be used for various things, which I know that should be avoided according to mufti saheb. I would like to know is it permissible to use ebucks to purchase something like airtime?

Answer

The benefits acquired through the bank are interest. Hence no benefits should be derived from it nor should it be used to purchase anything.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
