Question

Can one get married without an Imaam and the partner male tells you, we can make nikaah as long as we know the duas. Is this permissible?

Answer

If the nikaah is performed without witnesses, then the nikaah is not valid and did not take place.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
