Procedure of making dua

Question

Are there any particular steps or duas to mention for duas to be answered?

Answer

Commence with the praise of Allah Ta`ala, then salawaat on Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and then dua for yourself, parents, Deeni elders and Muslims in general and end up with durood shareef and praises to Allah Ta`ala.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
