Question

How can we make sure that our children do not apostasize from Islam as we know that atheism and liberalism is rapidly spreading? What can we do about it at an individual level?

Answer

Your children are your responsibility. Just as you will adopt all measures for the medical care and health care of your children, in the same way adopting all the measures that are required for their Islamic deeni wellbeing is your responsibility.

Just as you will be careful and take all the precautions regarding everything that will disrupt their health, then the same will apply to their deeni and Islamic wellbeing.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
