Question

Is it a sin to point out a sin of someone else?

Answer

To correct people for their mistakes and wrongs is a virtuous deed and enters under the obligation of Amr Bil Ma'roof and Nahi Anil Munkar (commanding with good and forbidding from evil) provided it is done with the correct intention and in accordance to the sunnah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
