Giving sadaqah to a madrasah for poor students
Question
Can sadaqah be given towards the feeding scheme of a madressa to revert kids who are deserving cases and come from impoverished surroundings?
Answer
Yes, it can be given to a madrasah. If the donor's intention is that the money (sadaqah) only be used for the poor students, then he should inform the madrasah of his intention so that the madrasah does not use the money on those who are not deserving.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
