Woman using a catheter while fasting
Question
Would it be permissible for a female who needs to use a disposable catheter to use it while fasting, if she needs to use it due to medical reasons. The catheter is inserted into the bladder, using a lubricating gel.
Answer
It is not permissible for a female to insert medication in her private part while fasting. If she inserts medication, her fast will break.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
