Women going to a male to pierce their ears

Question

We are baaligh women, and our ears are not pierced yet. Now we wish to have our ears pierced, but we cannot find a single lady to do it for us. In this situation, can we get our ears pierced by a male?

Answer

This is not a necessity for which a woman will be permitted to go to a male. Hence, you should not go to a male for this. There are women who do ear piercing for women. If you make the necessary enquiries, Insha Allah you will succeed in finding someone.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
