Mugallazah Talaaq

Question

When a Talaqul Mughallazah is given, for the couple to get back together, does it require only the wife to marry again or the husband as well?

Answer

Only the wife.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

فَإِن طَلَّقَها فَلا تَحِلُّ لَهُ مِن بَعدُ حَتّىٰ تَنكِحَ زَوجًا غَيرَهُ ۗ فَإِن طَلَّقَها فَلا جُناحَ عَلَيهِما أَن يَتَراجَعا إِن ظَنّا أَن يُقيما حُدودَ اللَّـهِ ۗ وَتِلكَ حُدودُ اللَّـهِ يُبَيِّنُها لِقَومٍ يَعلَمونَ ﴿٢٣٠﴾
