Using old clothes to clean furniture

Question

Can I use thobes and kufis to clean the furniture or use them as a mop? Are they sacred, and is it sinful to use them in such disrespectful ways?

Answer

If you are referring to using old clothes that are no longer being worn for this purpose, then it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
