Question

When a person is in I’tikaaf, how should he spend his time?

Answer

It is preferable for one in I’tikaaf to avoid remaining idle. Instead, one should occupy oneself in the recitation of the Quraan Majeed, performing nafl salaah, engaging in the remembrance of Allah Ta’ala, etc.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
