Question

Is Jumu’ah Salaah valid in Mina?

Answer

Yes. If one is in Mina on the day of Jumuah and performs Jumu’ah Salaah with all the conditions of Jumu’ah being found, then the Jumu’ah Salaaah will be valid.

Among the conditions required for the validity of Jumu’ah in an Islamic country is that the khalifah or Muslim leader permits the Jumu’ah to take place. Hence, if Jumu’ah is performed without the permission of the khalifah or Muslim leader, then the Jumu’ah Salaah will not be valid and Zuhr Salaah will have to be performed.
