Question

There are people who read things for when a person's navel shifts and the navel goes back in place.

From what I know it's Quraan they read but they do an amal on 15 Shaabaan or on an odd night of Ramadhaan.

Someone mentioned to me that this is a form of sihr Is this true?

Answer

Doing an amal which entails reciting verses of the Quraan Majeed is permissible. This is not regarded as sihr which is haraam and prohibited in islam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
