Question

Is it fardh to wash inside one's earring holes when making ghusl?

Answer

Yes, it is fardh for a woman to wash the inside of her earring holes when she has a fardh ghusl.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

(الفصل الأول في فرائضه) وهي ثلاثة المضمضة والاستنشاق وغسل جميع البدن على ما في المتون (الفتاوى الهندية 1/13)

(وأما فرائض الغسل فالمضمضة والاستنشاق وغسل سائر البدن) أي باقيه وإنما فرضت المضمضة والاستنشاق في الغسل دون الوضوء لأن الواجب في الغسل غسل جميع البدن وداخل الفم والأنف منه وفي الوضوء غسل الوجه وليسا منه لأنه من المواجهة وليس فيهما مواجهة (وإيصال الماء إلى منابت الشعر فرض وإن كثف) أي ولو كان الشعر كثيفا (بالإجماع وكذا) يفرض (إيصال الماء إلى أثناء اللحية وأثناء الشعر) من الرأس والبدن حتى لو كان الشعر متلبدا ولم يصل الماء إلى أثنائه لا يجوز الغسل لما في قوله تعالى وإن كنتم جنبا فاطهروا من المبالغة (غنية المتملي على شرح منية المصلي صـ 26)

فصل فرض الغسل: المضمضة والاستنشاق وغسل جميع البدن والفرق بينه وبين الوضوء أنه مأمور بغسل الوجه في الوضوء والمواجهة لا تقع بباطني الأنف والفم وفي الغسل مأمور بتطهير جميع البدن ... فيجب غسل جميع ما يمكن غسله من البدن إلا باطن العين على ما مر بخلاف باطن الأنف والفم حيث يمكن غسلهما (الاختيار لتعليل المختار 1/11)
