Stopping one's son from having a girlfriend
Question
My son is 23 and living by me. I told him he can't have a girlfriend and he must get married. If not, he must move out if he wants a girlfriend. Am I wrong to do so?
Answer
You are not wrong. A woman must be steadfast in these respects. She must not allow any type of haraam in her home and within her jurisdiction. She should stop it to the best of her ability.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
