Question

A person is traveling to Jeddah and wants to go to Madinah 1st when he lands. Then:

1. Is it fine for him not to be in a state of Ihraam when he enters Jeddah?

2. Is their any problem in him doing this? Like not preferable etc.?

Answer

Since his intention is Madinah Munawwarah and not Makkah Mukarramah, he can enter Jeddah without ihraam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
