Keeping one's daughters name Rumaisa
Question
I am planning to name my daughter Rumaisa Saad, InSha-Allah.
I am naming her after the companion of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), Umm Sulaim. I am unable to find any resources that give me the authentic meaning of the name Rumaisa. What is your opinion of the name?
Answer
It is permissible for one to name one's daughter Rumaisa. Rumaisa means a star.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
